Das Gios Torino Super Record ist ein Rennrad, das Radsportgeschichte geschrieben hat. Der klassisch geformte Rahmen in ikonischem Gios-Blau stammt aus einer Zeit, in der Gios als feste Größe im Profi-Peloton vertreten war – etwa beim Brooklyn-Team der 70er-Jahre. Mit seinem Columbus-Rohrsatz, feinen Muffen und präziser Campagnolo Super Record Ausstattung ist dieses Rad ein authentisches Beispiel italienischer Ingenieurskunst und ideal für L’Eroica-Veranstaltungen geeignet.Die Geometrie ist sportlich-kompakt mit 55 cm Oberrohrlänge, 15 cm Steuerrohr und einer Überstandshöhe von 81,5 cm – passend für Fahrer:innen mit etwa 174–182 cm Körpergröße.

Die Marke Gios wurde 1948 von Tolmino Gios in Turin gegründet und entwickelte sich in den 70er- und 80er-Jahren zu einer Kultmarke im internationalen Radsport. Besonders bekannt wurde Gios durch das Sponsoring des Brooklyn-Teams, das unter anderem mit Roger De Vlaeminck Klassiker wie Paris–Roubaix gewann. Bis heute steht Gios für kompromisslose Performance, präzise Verarbeitung und ein ganz eigenes Designverständnis – nicht zuletzt durch das unverwechselbare Gios-Blau.

Tamper purports to be a calibrated force tamper while it is a simpler spring-loaded depth-setting tamper ground distribution tool has a gap that gathers grounds if it is not perfectly closed. portafilter screen is pretty dang good the dose funnel chamfer is not at the same height as the rim of the portafilter, making me overfill for estimate fits my Casabrews Ultimate setup pretty well. blower bulb is woefully undersized to produce enough force to eject extraneous grounds

Low Profile: Unlike some "tall" funnels, this one is compact enough to fit under many grinder dispensers while still attached to the portafilter. Premium Finish: The matte black anodized aluminum feels incredibly durable and matches high-end espresso gear perfectly. The Not-So-Good: Price Point: It is definitely a premium option. You can find plastic versions for less, but they won't have the same weight or magnetic security. Pro Tips: Maintenance: This is anodized metal; do not put it in the dishwasher. Just wipe it with a dry cloth or a dedicated coffee brush. Magnet Care: Keep the bottom magnets clean. If coffee oils or grounds build up on the magnets, the "snap" won't feel as secure. I've been stubborn about buying a funnel - yet another coffee tool to simplify and optimize, right? But, it really does reduce the mess when using the WDT tool. The magnets are quite good, a different brand funnel (with magnets) wouldn't even stick to my portafilter. The fit is OK - it does slide around on my 58mm basket if I move the funnel. But, that hasn't been an issue because the magnets keep it in place. The shape is also a bit more tasteful than most of the generic funnels. Oh, and beware - if you're grinding directly into your portafilter basket (hands-free), the funnel may not fit into your grinder's portafilter-holder. This was the case with my DF54 grinder. Overall, I'd say it was worth the extra ~$4 USD over generic competitors.
